Presently, he serves as Project Manager of the localized NGO, Farmer Livelihood Development. He entered into his life-career in 1996 when he started working with international non-governmental organizations Lutheran World Federation (LWF), and with local NGO, Community Sanitation and Recycling (CSARO). Nhep Thy completed his Teacher Secondary School Certificate at Phnom Penh University and Master Degree at CUP University.
